Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026 · Drivecomp, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India

1. Who we are

Drivecomp (drivecomp.com) is a self-drive vehicle rental service operated by Asgard Enterprises, a Proprietorship registered in India, GSTIN 08AMSPL9413A1ZY, with its place of business at B-325, Chitrakoot Nagar, Bhuwana, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "Drivecomp" mean Asgard Enterprises.

2. Agreement

These Terms govern every booking made on drivecomp.com. By creating an account or booking a vehicle you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Each confirmed booking also forms a vehicle rental agreement between you and Drivecomp under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

3. Our vehicles

Every vehicle rented through Drivecomp carries a black number plate with yellow lettering — the registration category India reserves for self-drive rentals — together with commercial motor insurance carrying a self-drive endorsement, valid fitness certificate, PUC and GPS. A standard private driving licence is sufficient to drive them; no commercial licence is required.

4. Eligibility & documents

The primary driver must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driving licence for the vehicle class, issued at least 12 months before the trip start. Identity verification (driving licence, plus Aadhaar / PAN / passport, plus a live selfie) is mandatory before a first booking is confirmed. Foreign nationals require a passport, valid visa and International Driving Permit. We may decline or cancel any booking that fails verification.

5. Permitted use

Vehicles are rented for lawful, personal, on-road use only. The following are strictly prohibited: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; allowing any unverified person to drive; racing, rallying, speed testing or driving instruction; off-roading; towing or pushing anything; carrying passengers or goods for hire or reward; sub-letting the vehicle; carrying illegal, hazardous or prohibited substances; and crossing state borders without prior written approval.

6. Your responsibilities

You must carry your original driving licence throughout the trip, follow all traffic laws, pay tolls, parking and challans incurred during your trip, keep the vehicle locked when unattended, and return it at the agreed time, place and fuel level. Traffic challans received for your trip period will be billed to you at actuals plus a processing fee.

7. Charges, GST & deposit

The checkout screen shows the complete price: rent, delivery fee (if chosen), any security deposit, and GST at 18%, along with the published rate card for late return, damage, fuel shortfall and cancellation. No charge outside that screen will ever be applied. Where a security deposit applies, it is refunded within 48-72 working hours (excluding public holidays) of the return inspection, less any itemised deductions communicated to you in writing.

8. Delivery & collection

Delivery and collection are available across Udaipur city — ₹500 for 2-wheelers and ₹500 for 4-wheelers. Airport delivery to Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR), Dabok is charged at ₹2,000, with a discounted rate available to genuine arriving or departing air passengers who present a valid same-day boarding pass at handover. If a valid boarding pass is not presented, the standard rate applies and the difference becomes payable at handover. Promotional codes shown at checkout may reduce these fees; all charges are displayed in full before payment. You must be present with your original documents at the delivery location at the agreed time.

9. Travel beyond the service area

Travel beyond 25 km of Udaipur requires prior intimation and approval, and additional charges may apply. If the vehicle is taken beyond this area without prior intimation, a fine of ₹1,000 plus GST becomes payable, together with 2 times that day's rent. Interstate travel always requires prior written approval so that permits can be confirmed.

10. Damage

Damage is charged per the rate card shown at checkout: side mirrors and side glass ₹500 each; minor scratches ₹500 per panel; major damage from ₹5,000 up to the actual repair cost. A joint photo inspection is carried out at handover and return. Major damage or theft requires a police report (FIR).

11. GPS & telematics

All vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking devices, which remain active throughout the rental for safety, recovery and legal compliance. Tampering with the GPS device is a material breach, forfeits any deposit, and may be reported to the police.

12. Accidents, breakdown & insurance

In case of breakdown, call the 24×7 helpline (+91 96642 09112); we will arrange roadside assistance or a replacement where possible. In case of accident or theft you must inform us immediately and file a police report (FIR) — this is mandatory for insurance processing. Your liability for damage is limited to the amounts in the published rate card provided the rental terms were not breached. Any breach (drunk driving, unauthorized driver, prohibited use, driving without a valid licence) voids cover and makes you liable for the full loss.

13. Late return & extensions

A grace period of 30 minutes applies after your trip end time. Beyond that, the hourly rate increases by 10% for each additional hour of delay, capped at 5 times the standard hourly rate. Extensions requested before the end time through My Bookings are charged at standard rates and are subject to availability.

14. Cancellations

Cancellation charges are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy and shown at checkout. Drivecomp may cancel a booking due to safety concerns, verification failure, or vehicle unavailability, in which case all amounts paid are refunded in full.

15. Partner vehicles

Some vehicles on the platform are owned by verified partner hosts operating commercially registered vehicles. Your rental contract and all support remain with Drivecomp; the same rules, verification standards, insurance requirements and rate card apply regardless of who owns the vehicle.

16. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drivecomp's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total booking amount paid for the trip giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
