Strict Rules For Everyone's Safety
Every Drivecomp vehicle carries a black number plate with yellow lettering — the registration category India reserves for self-drive rentals — along with commercial insurance carrying a self-drive endorsement, valid fitness and PUC, and GPS. That is what makes your trip legal and insured. These rules are how we keep it that way.
Original DL, valid for the vehicle class, carried throughout the trip. A standard private licence is sufficient — our vehicles carry black plates with yellow lettering, the self-drive rental category, so no commercial licence is needed.
The driver must be at least 21 years old. Selected premium vehicles may require 23+.
Licences issued less than 12 months ago are not accepted.
Aadhaar, PAN or passport verified before your first booking. Foreign nationals need passport, visa and an International Driving Permit.
Zero tolerance. Trip terminated, deposit forfeited, insurance void, and the incident reported to the police.
Only drivers verified and named on the booking may drive. An unverified driver voids both the agreement and the insurance.
Any misuse voids insurance and makes you liable for the full loss.
Every vehicle carries GPS throughout the rental for safety, recovery and legal compliance. Tampering forfeits the deposit.
30-minute grace, then the hourly rate rises 10% per hour late, up to 5× hourly. Extending from My Bookings is always cheaper.
An FIR is mandatory before any insurance claim can proceed. Call our helpline first — we guide you through it.
