1. Who we are
Drivecomp (drivecomp.com) is operated by Asgard Enterprises, a Proprietorship registered in India (GSTIN 08AMSPL9413A1ZY), with its place of business at B-325, Chitrakoot Nagar, Bhuwana, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001. We are the data fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.
2. What we collect
Account details (name, mobile number, email, city); KYC documents (driving licence, Aadhaar / PAN / passport, and a live selfie) required to verify driving eligibility for self-drive rentals; booking and payment records; vehicle GPS/telematics data during active rentals; and standard technical data (device, IP, usage) when you use the website.
3. Why we collect it
To verify your identity and driving eligibility as required for self-drive vehicle rental; to process bookings, payments, deposits and refunds; to keep vehicles and customers safe (GPS during rentals, emergency response); to meet legal obligations including Motor Vehicles Act requirements, GST record-keeping and RTO/police requests; and to provide customer support.
4. KYC document security
KYC documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage. They are never public, never sold, and are accessible only to you and authorised verification staff, via time-limited secure links. Aadhaar data is handled only to the extent permitted by UIDAI rules and is never displayed publicly. You may request deletion of your KYC documents once your booking obligations are complete, subject to legal retention requirements.
5. GPS data
Vehicle location is recorded only through devices fitted in the vehicle, and only for the duration of the rental, for safety, theft recovery and legal compliance. We do not track your personal phone.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials — these are handled entirely by the gateway under RBI regulations.
7. Sharing
We share data only with: payment processors (to process your payment); insurers and roadside assistance providers (to service your trip); police, RTO, tax authorities or courts where legally required; and partner vehicle owners, limited strictly to the booking details for their own vehicle — never your KYC documents.
8. Retention
Booking, GST and tax records are retained for the periods required by Indian law. KYC documents are retained while your account is active and for the legally required period thereafter, then deleted.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may access, correct or update your information from your account at any time, and may request erasure of your data by writing to hello@drivecomp.com. We will comply subject to legal retention obligations.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login sessions and basic analytics to improve the website. No advertising trackers are used.
11. Grievance redressal
Any complaint about how your personal data is handled can be sent to hello@drivecomp.com (Grievance Officer: Trishal Lohar), or by post to Asgard Enterprises, B-325, Chitrakoot Nagar, Bhuwana, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days as required by law.
